What data do we collect?
We collect very limited personal data. Our website does not include a contact form, user accounts, or e-commerce functionality. The data we process falls into two categories:
Data you provide directly If you contact us by email or phone, we will process the information you share with us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any details included in your message. We process this data to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to establish a business relationship. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective and existing clients (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Data collected automatically When you visit our website, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, and approximate geographic location. This data is used solely to understand how our website is used so we can improve it. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. The legal basis is your consent, provided through our cookie banner (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
We also use Google Search Console, which provides aggregated data about how our website appears in search results. This tool does not collect personal data from visitors.
Who do we share data with?
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data may be shared with:
Google LLC, as processor, through Google Analytics. Google processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy for further details.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legitimate legal interests.
How long do we keep data?
Email correspondence and business-related communication are kept for as long as the business relationship is active, plus a reasonable retention period in line with Danish bookkeeping and tax requirements (typically five years). Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@nordicmarinepartner.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
